The materials used for sensor processors typically consist primarily of semiconductor materials-specifically silicon-due to silicon's excellent electrical conductivity and low production costs. GaN and SiC possess superior electron mobility and enhanced radiation resistance, enabling them to deliver superior performance in high-power and high-frequency applications. These materials are frequently employed in high-power electronic devices and specialized sensor processors demanding exceptional efficiency-particularly in scenarios requiring high-precision and high-speed processing capabilities.

 

Sensor processors may also utilize ceramic or metal-based materials. These materials offer enhanced resistance to high temperatures, corrosion, and mechanical shock, making them well-suited for use in sensor processors deployed in aerospace, military, and certain industrial control systems.
